Unveiling Happiness

"Happiness is nothing but a state of mind." It means it's the brain that can make it happen at any moment. It is a crucial point to understand. Yet, almost everyone seeks that in the external world. They try and do a lot many things and still can't find it.

We, as humans, are evolved over billions of years from blue-green algae. There are almost infinite numbers of chromosomes mutations (ref genetic engineering) that happened overages that made a human. Every one of us is billion years old, but we have a memory as old as our age. We need to rethink our evolution and then seek how dependent we are on different entities of our ecosystem (core elements - air, water, fire, sky, land), and others like sun, plants, trees, food, etc.

A human mind is designed to learn and seek out things and has infinite possibilities to discover and invent more.

In Bhagwat Geeta, there are three modes of material nature in which a person can live a life. The first one is "Sat" (goodness) in which a person practices an experience of a monk and achieves the ultimate peace or happiness, but that requires the understanding of the billions of years of human evolution and wisdom. The second one is "Raj," (passion) in which a person practices different levels of materialism and seeks happiness from those materials (90% of the population lies in this zone). This mode is fine to live with, and there is no harm. The only thing to take care of in this mode is to handle negative emotions like jealousy, ego, anger, etc. The third mode is "Tam," (ignorant) where a person seeks happiness by hurting others like theft, lies, influencing for the sake of personal benefit, and other violence. Few people lie in this mode as well. Their happiness is very temporary and void.

Since most of the population lives in 90% of the second mode, which is materialistic. Materialism often brings negative emotions to life. To cater to negative emotions, we need to be aware and conscious like monks so we can get the benefits from both modes.

There is the various process through which we can get rid of all negative emotions and yet live in the second mode of material nature. It includes mindfulness meditation, vibes, self-awareness, self-discovery, understanding the subconscious mind, our purpose, science of gratitude, understanding our conscious mind, body and soul, and how these are in sync with each other. These are very complicated topics and can only be understood with expert guidance.

Being happy is easy, but it has a cost of understanding these lessons of life.
